		<description>Having read almost all of his books (in Turkish) this one is my favourite.  The runner up is The Black Book.

This is one of those books that wants to make you visit the location.  

To get an idea what Istanbul looks like under snow, I recommend the film &quot;Distant&quot; by Nuri Bilge Ceyhan.</description>
