While looking for something to blog about, I came across Words Without Borders, “The Online Magazine for International Literature,” and that’s where I stayed for almost an hour. This website has it all: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, essays, plays, reviews, and children’s stories from all over the world. And to top it off, the website has an interesting blog dedicated to all things literary and cultural. (I thought this post, entitled “The Foreign Writer’s Guide to Dating in New York,” was particularly amusing: “The best quote was delivered by a neighbor, a lady well into her seventies. She told me, ‘I didn’t mind the fucking, but I could not stand the kissing at the door.’”) Dig in!
